Kumar Satyam Represents Trula Overseas at High-Level Namaste India 2025 Conference in Milan
Trula Overseas Strengthens Its Role in Global Education and Indo-Italian Collaboration
Milan, Italy – June 2025 — In a defining moment for India’s education-tech and international academic pathways, Kumar Satyam, Managing Director of Trula Overseas Private Limited, was an honored delegate at the prestigious Namaste India 2025 event hosted by the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI) in Milan. The event served as a diplomatic and strategic nexus for fostering Indo-Italian cooperation in business, culture, tourism, and education—with Mr. Satyam representing two of India’s most promising education ventures: Higher Education Centre and Trula AI.
Indo-Italian Synergy: A Call for Skilled Talent and Innovation
The two-day summit, held at Palazzo Giureconsulti and Scalo Milano Outlet & More, featured distinguished personalities including:
- Lavanya Kumar, Consul General of India to Milan
- Alessandro Giuliani, Managing Director of SDA Bocconi AC, and President of IICCI
- Claudio Maffioletti, CEO of IICCI
- Raffaele Cattaneo, Undersecretary for International Relations, Lombardy Region
- Nicola Missaglia, Head, Communications and Publications, ISPI – Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale
- Representatives from ENIT, Simest, Promos Milano, and other key Italian institutions
One of the event’s focal themes was the Migration and Mobility Agreement recently signed between India and Italy, a historic step paving the way for enhanced exchange of talent, especially in high-demand sectors like healthcare and education.
“Italy needs skilled people,” said Maffioletti, referencing past collaborations with Indian talent. “Kerala’s nurses used to be the standard—we need that caliber again.”
This aligns directly with Higher Education Centre’s mission to prepare Indian students for success in globally competitive academic programs—particularly medical degrees offered in Italy under IMAT.
Trula’s Strategic Position: Bridging Opportunity with Innovation
In the backdrop of India’s GDP growing consistently above 6%, and as Italy seeks deeper engagement with India beyond the top 10 in trade and FDI, Trula Overseas presented a clear proposition:
- Higher Education Centre by Trula Overseas: A robust platform supporting Indian students aiming for elite global programs, especially in Italy.
- Trula AI – Artificial Intelligence for Education: A cutting-edge initiative harnessing AI to personalize student learning journeys and enhance educational outcomes, relevant across both Indian and international classrooms.
Kumar Satyam emphasized the need for scalable education solutions backed by technology and trust.
“We are not just moving students across borders; we’re scaling ambition, nurturing future doctors and professionals, and using AI to make education personal and powerful,” he noted.
A Vision for Growth
In his keynote, Dr. Lavanya Kumar painted a powerful picture of India’s economic rise and strategic potential for deeper Italian engagement:
“If you see in the past decade, probably India is the only country in the world which has witnessed 6 to 7 percent growth rate continuously… just two weeks back India has overtaken Japan and the total GDP now became the fourth largest in the world. We expect that by 2028 we will become the third largest.”
He further stressed the underutilized potential in Indo-Italian trade:
“The total Italian investment in India is just around $3.5 billion and Indian investments in Italy around $650 million. Italy ranks around 19th in total FDI into India—so there’s a big gap to fill.”
His message was clear: India is not just a market to sell to—it’s a partner to build with:
“Please don’t see India just as a market… Come to India, invest, and be our partner in our development… Even if you capture 1–2% of India, you’ve got the equivalent of one or two European countries in your pocket.”
And finally, invoking the uniquely warm ties between Prime Ministers Modi and Meloni:
“They met just two days ago in Canada… Such excellent political relations are rare. It’s our responsibility to translate that into ground reality and make the friendship between India and Italy stronger.”
‘Melodi’ Diplomacy and a Future-Oriented Narrative
Recurring references to the growing rapport between PM Narendra Modi and PM Giorgia Meloni—colloquially dubbed Melodi—symbolized a new era of multi-alignment in foreign policy. India’s consistent GDP growth (6%+) and ability to maintain constructive relations amid global turmoil were praised as foundations of international credibility.
This broader political and economic context made Trula’s presence timely and symbolic, reinforcing the company’s relevance in conversations on youth mobility, talent pipelines, and cultural diplomacy.
“This is not just a new era of business, but of values, opportunity, and trust,” said Consul General Lavanya Kumar, encouraging Indian ventures to seize Italy’s untapped potential.
Trula Overseas: A Trusted Bridge to the Future
The event offered Trula Overseas:
- Institutional visibility among Italian and Indian policymakers
- Strategic insights for forming university and research collaborations
- Validation for its education-focused, tech-empowered model
With Italy emerging as a key destination for Indian students—and education as a pillar of diplomacy—Trula is poised to deepen its impact.
